OUR VETERINARIANS

?

Dr. Paul Gigliotti and Dr. Jill Egan Gigliotti

Veterinary Medicine has been a family tradition for Dr. Paul Gigliotti. His father, his uncle and his cousin are all veterinarians. After receiving a B.S. in Food Science from the Ohio State University, Dr. Gigliotti graduated with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1994, also from the Ohio State University. He then returned home to Amherst, Ohio, near Cleveland, to practice in his family’s veterinary hospital. After 6 years of practice in Cleveland, he met his future wife Jill at a veterinary conference and decided to move south to Wilmington. Following his dream of practice ownership, he purchased the Forest Hills Veterinary Hospital in 2000 and has enjoyed growing the practice from a humble beginning to what it is now.

Dr. Gigliotti prides himself on the personal, home town feel and the one-on–one attention he provides all his clients. He loves being the pets’ family doctor and strengthening the bond between people and their pets. He has a special interest in . His free time is spent with his family or on the golf course or playing cards with friends

Dr. Jill Egan Gigliotti is originally from Dayton, Ohio. She attended the Ohio State University and received a B.A. in Zoology and a minor in Microbiology in 1991. She continued her studies at OSU and graduated with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1995. Seeking warmer weather and a home near the beach, she relocated to Wilmington immediately after graduation and began her career working at Needham Animal Hospital and also Atlantic Animal Hospital. She practiced for 8 years at Atlantic Animal Hospital under her maiden name Dr. Egan before meeting Dr. Paul Gigliotti. Once they were married and began a family, she left practice at Atlantic to become a full time mom and part time relief vet to the Wilmington area. She has enjoyed the flexible schedule relief work has allowed her while continuing her career and always being available for their two sons, Jacob and Nathan.

Dr. Jill knew at a very early age she wanted to become a veterinarian. She has always had a love for animals, enjoyed studying science and grew up watching the James Harriet series “All Creatures Great and Small”. Her favorite aspect of practice is helping clients learn how to care for their pets in the best way possible and being a contributing factor in their health and longevity. When not at work, she loves spending time with their kids, visits to the beach, a cup of coffee and a good book as well as volunteering at their church.

The Gigliotti Family

In addition to their two sons Jacob and Nathan, Drs. Jill and Paul share their home with 3 rescued pets- “Holly” a Golden Retriever, “Apple” a genetically-confused canine, and “Caramel” a crazy kitten. They are active members of St. Mark Catholic Church, life-time BUCKEYE fans, and enjoy family life, time with friends and get-aways to the mountains.

Dr. Artan Emini was born and raised in the Southwest

soccer which allowed him to travel internationally to
Latin America and Europe to play with professional
development teams for months at a time. His love for

such as lions, tigers, savannah cats, and brown and black
